Most basement treasures are perhaps best left in the basement - at least until that yearly yard sale. Not so in Chianti, a region in central Tuscany whose name has graced many a wine bottle. In the little hilltop town of Castellina, cellars truly hold treasures. Noticing one such cellar in a wine shop, we asked the owner for permission to take a closer look. As we pondered the giant casks lining the walls, we pictured many a happy couple treasuring both the romantic Tuscan countryside and its sweet harvest.
