Lake Como | Italy

Warmth engulfs me as I peer through the gates onto Lake Como. Although the air is crisp, my face is warmed by the constant rays of sun falling from the sky. I happened upon this gate as I was walking in the gardens of Villa Cipressi in Verenna, Italy. With the vines tracing an intricate design up the wall, it couldn’t have been a more serene setting. The gate can easily represent the entrance into the Garden of Eden, a paradise meant for every creature in existence.
