Doors and passageways both exist for the same reason; to create a portal between two places. Why do we walk through doors? To see what’s beyond them. It’s always a bit of a mystery not being able to see what awaits us when we pass the threshold but we still take that chance. With passageways it’s a little different. We see what we are about to enter, we can peer through and decide for ourselves if it’s a place we want to go. As I peered through this passageway my answer was clear; yes, I want to go through what could only be described as a bella entrata.
