The Dolomites | Italy

I’ve always loved the Dolomites because of their massiveness. Their jagged peaks do a wonderful job at reminding us just how high we have to reach to touch the sky. Aside from their grandeur, I also love them because they are home to chapels such as this. Something so small with something so big can give us the perspective we need when it comes to our faith, our lives, our world. So, as simple as it may be, its importance remains because without that chapel; it would be just another meadow. Without the mountains there wouldn’t even be a meadow. But combine them all and you get the full wonderful picture; a chapel in the meadow.
