In Venice the gondolas take the place of cars. Gliding through the streets with lovers, friends, or people with their eyes closed enjoying the music that Venice makes. They are constantly in motion; even when unoccupied they are fastened together and sway side by side as they rest. The scene is truly moving in more ways than one; the movement of the water and the emotion something so rhythmic and calming can give us.
