Wine is one of the many passions of the world and that statement goes without question in the Douro Valley of Portugal. The layers of autumn weave their way up and down each terrace creating a quilt of vines that in years to come will steep the region with wine. But before then, I hope this image will provide a different kind of nourishment, one that steeps the mind in beauty and color.
